Description

The Cheney Line is an important element of STA’s envisioned High Performance Transit (HPT) Network and a commitment of the STA Moving Forward plan which was approved by regional voters in 2016. The implementation of High Performance Transit between Cheney and Downtown Spokane will enhance service on the West Plains by improving the frequency, hours of service, passenger amenities and the operation of an enhanced bus along the path of current Route 64. This line, which will operate primarily as Route 6 along with enhanced service on Route 66, will connect with local service in the West Plains, including the 67 Swoop Loop and 68 Cheney Loop in Cheney and the 62 Medical Lake and 63 Airway Heights at the West Plains Transit Center.
