High Performance Transit Network

A High Performance Transit Network (HPT) is a series of local and regional transportation corridors offering frequent, reliable, all day mass transit service. As a whole, the HPT provides a higher level of mobility, allowing customers greater access to the public transportation system and the ability to reach more destinations.

The essential goal of the HPT Network is to establish a high level of connectivity. As always, bus, paratransit and vanpool services are provided, but will operate with enhanced efficiency.

The following transit projects have been selected for further analysis based on initial public input and technical analysis. Corridor Advisory Panels (CAPS) evaluated the future potential of the projects and will provide recommendations to the STA board on May 16, 2013.
